There will be a bus shuttling people from Carleton Place & District Youth Centre to the competition and home again on the day of the skateboard competition. The cost will be $5 per person and it will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tickets will be available starting September 8th at the youth centre in Carleton Place. Just a quick announcement regarding this year's Slave to the Grind Skate Competition. This year we will only be featuring skateboarding at the competition! The date will be Saturday September 19, 2009 at the Skate Park in Smiths Falls. The event will run from 11-3 and we will be having a BBQ and music throughout the event. Once again, we have amazing prizes and sponsors, including Fisheye and Es shoes to mention a few! Registration will be $10 and forms will be available shortly with locations to be announced. Spread the word! We are looking forward to another successful Slave to the Grind!
A note to youth from Carleton Place and Almonte .. a bus will be provided to shuttle boarders and spectators to the event and will cost $5. The bus will pick up and drop off at the youth centre in Carleton Place.
